Virtually no size, shape or finish limitations
KMDI fabricated this amazing swooping and turning ribbon for Morimoto Asia. The MicroLite!™ ribbon is approximately 150 liner feet long. The MicroLite!™ ribbon locks together very tightly and precisely so that the joints virtually disappear.
In addition, the ribbon, in several places, joined a Corian counter top where the paint finish of the MicroLite!™ had to match the surface, color and sheen of the Corian exactly. This was achieved and ultimately the MicroLite!™ and Corian were seamlessly joined together to create one continuous ribbon all through restaurant.
A designer or architect will no longer be restricted by the limitations of traditional building materials and methods. MicroLite!™ Elements can be formed with virtually no limitation to shape or size and can be finished with paint, wallpaper, veneer, laminates, metals and the choices are endless.
Unlike traditional construction methods, MicroLite!™ elements arrive on site completely finished and ready for installation and take hours, not days to install. MicroLite! elements can even include wiring and lighting components pre-installed to further compress the installation time. Retrofits and remodels are perfect for MicroLite!™ elements as they can be installed with minimal intrusion of the business. Best of all, there is no construction mess to clean up!
